These are just some of what we'll be having for the Reunion Dinner tonight! (No, not the sausage dog people. That's my hungry dog in waiting!)
Mum and I are gonna be attempting to make sotong with lemon and glutinous rice stuffing too! I hope they turn out well (and edible!) *fingers crossed*

Oh yeah, this is also a time to offer foods to those who were once amongst us... so we did not forget a meal for Daddy *smiles* And as the old folks would tell you, you know he's had enough when you flip 2 coins and they end up with opposite sides up. This would also be a time (for some!) to try and ask for lucky 4D numbers, hoping they'll strike it rich! *huat ah!* (loosely translated, this means "Prosper!" and when you say this, you have to say it with gusto and almost like you're shouting and you mean it.)
